HARVEST Network for Agricultural Research and Innovation

HARVEST is a Research Coordination Network (RCN) that brings together scientists from various research disciplines to enhance the productivity and viability of small- and mid-level farms. We do this by linking systems-based research in technology, human factors, and sustainable development with education and practice.

HARVEST is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is based out of Virginia Tech.
Become a member of HARVEST
-Embed technology development within an affordable, sustainable, human-centered, design framework.

-Understand and evaluate the risks and benefits of emerging technologies through a socio-technical systems modeling approach.
​
-Facilitate and inform education and lifelong learning through partnerships with universities and established rural rehabilitation networks in order to achieve an organic research and implementation plan for the future.
